Today I came by a wonderfully simple website that does a LOT of marketing right.
It: Simplifes, humanizes, promises something concrete and it's quick about it!
Check it out:

Here Is What This Above-The-Fold Does Right
- Grabs attention immediately with an image of a smiling person looking DIRECTLY at the visitor. Obviously this builds some kind of rapport with the person who is selling their service. Solid first choice for a "hero section image".
- Delivers a promise in your value proposition, rather than some vague brand-like fluffy statement. The promise of discovering a career you absolutely love actually means something to a person visiting the website. This is a strong promise for the exact right prospect. THIS IS KEY!
- The headline immediately addresses an objection. In this case by giving people the confidence to make a career change. Well done. Well timed objection handling. If you're looking to change career, this is very likely the exact thing you want and the exact thing you fear at the same time. The value proposition delivers a great one-two punch because it gets right into the psychographics of the prospect.
- GETS PEOPLE ON THE MAILING LIST ASAP! This is where money is made outside of algorithms, virality chasing, trends, doom scrolling and dopamine draining feeds.(*)
A mailing list is still -by FAR- your best large scale marketing assets and Isabelle from the company brilliantseeds.com gets RIGHT down to biz with a specific promise and a proposed solution.
Obviously I LOVE IT!!! ❤️❤️❤️
From a nit-picky direct response standpoint there are things to tweak and test, but overall this front page pulls a lot harder than most websites I've seen over the last couple of months.
Overall this page delivers humanity, a benefit, the tools to get that benefit and an immediate reason to stay in touch. It's a WONDERFUL first things to try if you're looking to update an existing webpage, or built one for the first time.
(*) Oddly, those who own a well-managed email list never want to rely on social media for revenue ever again, but the consensus is still that social media is "the thing to do".
So if you're one of those people who do have a well-run email list: Shhhhhhhhhh!!!!!
Just keep quiet about how awesome it is to be able to have +40% of your entire audience reading your marketing content every single day...
We'll just keep all the email goodness for ourselves for now.
If your business has an email list of at least 2000 subs, and you would like help raising revenue, increasing engagement or take any pain out of email marketing: Join My Waiting List I'll get in touch when I have an opening.
